Victor S. - CHEF DE CUISINE
Chef Victor D. Sanchez is 31 years old and was raised in Southern California in the Los Angeles area. He is a private caterer for many clients in Los Angeles. He created a small business, L.A. City Chefs just a few years ago. He prides himself in preparing dishes with the best and freshest local ingredients and preparing them with love, care and attention to detail. From early on Victor knew he would become a Chef. He found himself cooking at home for friends and family during his last couple of years of high school. What was fun at first became a true passion. He decided then pursue an education at one of the finest culinary schools in the country at 18 years of age. New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, VT. After graduating Victor worked the bulk of his young career in some of the best restaurants in Boston, MA. From The Hilton in Boston to fine dining restaurants like Salts in Cambridge and Tresca in the North End. His Culinary journey then brought him back home to L.A. where he worked at the famous Petrossian Paris, Nics in Beverly Hills and now putting his attention to being a Private Chef. He continues to refine and develop his cuisine and culinary techniques everyday. His cuisine is best described as“delicious” but has a French foundation and is married with American Contemporary, Latin, Italian, Asian and Mediterranean cuisine with a Modern twist.

Meet our Costa Family. Chef Alex, Zelia, and Leo.
They joined the team due that their passion has always been seafood.
Alex would go with his family on vacation to Puerto Vallarta as a child and fell in love with the sea.
Zelia has 15 years in culinary working with prior seafood restaurants. Her passion grew more when she saw the delicacy of our menu.
Leo following his mother's footsteps grew around in the kitchen and his goal is to become an executive chef .

Evangelina L. - OPERATION MANAGER & CONCEPT DESIGNER
Evangelina has a love for the hospitality industry. Her background has been 12 years experience in luxury boutique hotel in Beverly Hills, Pasadena and West Hollywood as Front Office Operations.
When Costa was developing she wanted to provide an fresh new Vibe to Whittier with a classic feel at the same time.
Her father-in-law and husband had a dream to run a family restaurant with a spicy taste of Zacatecas and quality seafood. Evangelina always had an old soul when it came to music and loved the idea to have trio harmonize in the Restaurant.
Her passion for service and detail is what Costa is what it is today.
